The Head of College is the chief administrative officer and presiding faculty presence in Grace Hopper College. The Head shapes the social, cultural, and educational life and character of the college. During the academic year, the Head hosts lectures, study breaks (especially during finals), and College Teas—intimate gatherings during which students have the opportunity to engage with renowned guests from the academy, business, the arts, politics, and popular culture.
Professor Samuel Moyn was appointed Head of College in 2024. Moyn’s immediate staff includes Assistant Director of Operations Anna Reynolds; Senior Administrative Assistant Angela McCray; Service Assistant Ivete Anderson, and the College Aides.
