The Head of College is the chief administrative officer and the presiding faculty presence in Grace Hopper. The Head fosters and shapes the social, cultural, and educational life and character of the college. During the year, the Head of College hosts lectures, study breaks (especially during finals), and College Teas—intimate gatherings during which students have the opportunity to engage with renowned guests from the academy, business, the arts, politics, and popular culture.
Julia Adams has been the Head of Grace Hopper College since 2014. She has a staff consisting of the Operations Manager Anna Reynolds; the Senior Administrative Assistant Angela McCray; the Service Assistant Ivete Anderson, and multiple College Aides. And she works in tandem with the Hopper College Council and other student organizations and informal help, without which the College would never be as successful as it is!
