Anna Reynolds joined Grace Hopper College staff as the Operations Manager in summer 2015. She develops and manages financial and administrative operations for the College. Anna’s work includes strategic planning, special projects, and overseeing finances, events, and facilities. At Yale since 1989, Anna has held a series of leadership positions, including in the Yale College Dean’s Office and at the Council of the Heads of College, where she is still Lead OM for the Residential Colleges. Anna holds an MBA from Quinnipiac University and a B.S. in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University.
Anna lives in Wallingford with her children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Anna always finds time to work in her garden.

Angela McCray is the Senior Administrative Assistant to the Head of College.  She is the ‘point person’ for any questions about college life and facilities, including scheduling use of public spaces within Grace Hopper College. She is also very happy to help students with any questions that they may have – even including taking care of chocolate cravings.  If students are locked out of their rooms, need to make appointment with the Head or Associate Head of College, please contact Angela. She is always willing to lend a hand or an ear to students who need it. 

Angela loves to travel and spend time with her husband, two children and grandson.

Her office – the hub of the Head of College Office – is located in Entryway G and can be reached by e-mail at or at 203-432-0740 (8:30-5 pm on weekdays).

Service Assistant to the Head of College

Ivete Anderson

Ivete Anderson is Service Assistant to the Head of College. She keeps the House humming, including organizing and preparing food, and facilitating the many special events in the House throughout the year.

Ivete moved to the United States from the Cape Verde Islands in January 2002. While in Cape Verde, Ivete worked as an elementary school teacher.

In her free time, Ivete enjoys traveling and spending time on the water, including boating and fishing with her husband. She also loves to spend leisure time with her daughter, son and grandson.
