Music Suite & Practice Rooms

Grace Hopper College has two music practice rooms in the lower level.  Room #64 has a Yamaha P22 studio upright.  Room #63 is larger and has a Kawai K200 studio upright.  If you’re interested in using either of the practice rooms, please contact student manager Lucy Tomasso (lucy.tomasso@yale.edu) and stop by the Head of College’s Office to request keys. (There are also two Steinway grands in the Common Room, available for anyone who wants to play, and who treats them kindly, a grand piano in the Roosevelt L. Thompson Dining Hall, and an elderly but beloved upright in the Buttery.)

Student Manager: Lucy Tomasso

Lucy is a junior majoring in Theater Studies. Besides being a member of the best residential college at Yale, Lucy sings soprano in Redhot & Blue and is in Groove Dance Company. She is also a tour guide and is involved in the theatrical scene at Yale. Lucy looks forward to regaining the friendship of her suitemates, now that she can use the Grace Hopper practice rooms instead of practicing in her room at 2 am!
